School holiday activities
Our zoo keepers look forward to meeting you during the school holidays!
The zoo is open 7 days a week from 9.30am - 4.30pm during the Queensland school holidays, apart from Christmas Day.
Entry to the zoo is free. Please leave your pets at home to help keep our zoo animals safe.
Zookeeper Talks
Our free keeper talks are a great way to watch some of our zoo animals being fed or learn about them from our dedicated zookeepers.
Download the September School Holiday Zoo Keeper Talk Flyer.
Talks are suitable for children and everyone is welcome to attend.

Colouring in sheets
Pick up free colouring in sheets near the Green-tree Frogs exhibit, including the Red-winged Parrot, Spotted-tailed Quoll and Krefft's Turtle and then see if you can find the turtle and birds in the zoo!
Our colouring in sheets are printed on 100% recycled post-consumer waste and are carbon neutral.
Share your family's creations with us by emailing a photo of the finished colouring in to parksadministration@bundaberg.qld.gov.au along with your child's first name and age and check back on this webpage to view the artwork!
